How do I sign in?
Choose Log in and sign in with Sweden Connect. The first time you sign in, fill in your profile under My details.
Can I have more than one role?
Yes. For example, you can be both an applicant and a reviewer. You apply on it42.vr; a funder that seats you on a review panel gives you access to its review site.
Can I use IT42 if I'm not in Sweden?
It depends on the call. Each funder decides who can apply, and the rules are on every call page. Read them before you start.
Applying
How do I apply for a grant?
Find an open call, choose Apply and fill in the application form. You can save a draft at any time and come back to it. Send your application before the deadline.
What is an open call?
One funding opportunity with its own rules and deadline. A grant is what you get once your application is accepted.
Why does my organization need to sign off?
The organization that hosts your project receives the money and manages it for you. It confirms it agrees after you submit, before the review starts.
Can I change my application after I submit it?
No. Once you submit, your application is locked while it is signed off and reviewed. Check everything before you confirm.
What happens if I miss the deadline?
The call closes at the end of its deadline day and can no longer be applied to. Drafts you have not sent stay with you.
Reviews and decisions
Who reviews my application?
A review panel chosen by the funder. Reviewers must declare any conflict of interest before they start.
Can reviewers see each other's scores?
Not at first. During private review, each reviewer scores alone. When the private review ends, panel members see all scores and discuss them.
When will I hear back?
Your card on the board shows where your application is. It moves to Granted or Declined as soon as the funder decides.

How do I update my profile?
Open Profile from the sidebar. You can type in your details and CV, or import them from ORCID.
